This book has great illustrations and it is a good book for kids who are good readers. The Dumpman is a good man. The Dumpman won't throw books away. He will save them, and he even started a new library at the dump. When people bring their carts, they can borrow a book that he cleaned up. We learn how much he loves books and wants children to read. The townspeople still remember the Dumpman years later. When the Dumpman hurt his leg, all the kids actually read to HIM!
This book is awesome and I recommend it to young kids at Jameson!
