My Pet Guinea Pig ~ Jill Foran

Ali P. has a real love for guinea pigs, and she thinks other kids who love these fluffy little cuties will like this book a lot.  Here are some of the things that Ali learned about guinea pigs from this nonfiction book:

1) Guinea pigs are sometimes called cavie.
2) Guinea pigs can have short hair or very long hair that is silky.
3) Sometimes their hair covers their faces.
4) A guinea pig is a great pet to have.
5) They need to be fed twice a day.
6) Guinea pigs need grains and fresh shavings.
